Wonderful

Low taxes, few regulations, and many people disregard the laws that do exist. This creates all sorts of advantages for independent, hardworking people who make money through their skills or capital. Immature, delicate souls who see the EU, the US or Russia as models to follow are strongly advised against moving here.
For the average person, there are objectively a huge number of downsides: the climate, prices, the quality of typical goods and services, the language, infrastructure, safety, the banking system and so on. But you can throw money at almost all of these problems, secure a level of comfort higher than in most places on the planet, and live in peace.

My third year in Paraguay

A great country for those who want to start their own business, dislike big cities and feel more at home in nature. In a small country, you need to be mindful of your actions and how you communicate with others. A good person and a skilled professional will do very well here. Someone with a taker’s mentality or a dishonest person will not. Temporary and permanent residency are easy to obtain. Low taxes. Businesses are not overregulated. Nobody gives a damn about the country, and it is far removed from conflicts and natural disasters.

Tranquila

A fairly peaceful country with a relatively low cost of living. Finding a job is difficult. The locals are friendly and love children.

Tranquila
